THE CLOUDS WEPT

The land had been hardened by the heat.
The lake covered by hyacinth.
The skies showed no signs of nimbus clouds.
No forthcoming change foretold. Things stagnated to the point of zero motion mentally.

Shortly after the desertion came an invasion.
The heavens opened up late in the night to wet the roofs and earth.
Expectant dwellers baffled by the weather tried to symbolize the raindrops.

Weeping of the firmament at the verge of un-pellucid results,
Was vibrant and thunder-some once more before it was declared,it occurred.
Speechless and hopeless they cowered under the discomfort of uncertainty.

Prayers and whispers of peace cut through the puddles long unseen.
Tears of worry and subduction accompanied the, frozen one.

Will the coated courts rescind the blue cloud's appeal?
